Hello! My name is Stu Helm and I am an artist and writer living and working in Asheville, Western North Carolina (WNC).

I am a graduate of the Art Institute of Boston, where I earned a BA in Illustration, and as a professional, I have drawn comics, illustrated books, written articles, hosted a radio show, a podcast, and most recently, as a local food blogger, I have developed a wide audience and large social media following.

The stories of Hendra and Her Lost Dwarfmaids have been brewing in my mind for many decades, and I am grateful to have this opportunity to present the unedited manuscript and initial illustrations to you, while I work on them!

My goal is to find an editor and a publisher, and tell these stories to as wide an audience as possible!
